Success looks very different in 2026 than it did even a few years ago. Today’s most influential entrepreneurs are no longer defined only by revenue or rapid growth, but by the values they stand for and the impact they create. Leaders shaping new approaches to success are building businesses that are sustainable, people-focused, and deeply relevant to the world we live in. This list highlights five entrepreneurs who are helping establish new benchmarks for what it truly means to succeed.

Dr. Rob Douk

Dr. Rob Douk is a licensed psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with a career focused on helping people and organizations function better, not just feel better. His work draws from psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral science, with an emphasis on practical change rather than theory alone.

Through years of clinical practice and organizational work, Dr. Douk has seen how stress, burnout, and poor systems quietly undermine performance and well-being. That experience led him to found The Well Club, a platform designed to translate evidence-based research into tools people can actually use in daily life. His approach moves away from surface-level wellness programs and toward structured, sustainable practices that support mental clarity, resilience, and long-term health.

Dr. Douk is also the creator of the Well Method, a framework built around the nine dimensions of wellness. It reflects his belief that well-being is shaped by how different areas of life interact, not by isolated habits or quick fixes.

Raised in a Cambodian refugee family, Dr. Douk’s perspective on resilience and adaptability continues to inform his work today. He remains focused on building systems that help individuals and organizations grow with intention and balance.

Wanda Knight is an experienced enterprise sales leader with close to 30 years in the technology industry. She has built her career working with large, complex organizations, helping teams grow, navigate change, and build lasting client relationships through thoughtful strategy and execution.

Originally a finance major, Wanda entered the tech world after graduating during the 1989 market crash. An early opportunity in a structured sales training and mentoring program shaped her approach to leadership, one rooted in preparation, adaptability, and trust. Over time, she moved into leadership roles not by seeking titles but by taking responsibility, leading strategy, and supporting the people around her.

Wanda is known for her people-first leadership style. She believes strong results follow when individuals are given space to take ownership and the support to grow. Mentorship is a core part of her work, both through formal programs for women and informal guidance for colleagues across all levels.

Outside of her professional life, Wanda is a strong advocate for cancer research, arts education, and initiatives that encourage girls to explore careers in STEM. A global traveler who has visited more than 38 countries, she brings a broad perspective to her work, one shaped by curiosity, experience, and a commitment to paying it forward.

Juan Carlos Baumgartner is a Mexican architect, designer, and visionary entrepreneur whose work explores how design, grounded in science and evidence, can positively transform human life.

Educated in Mexico City, San Francisco, Chicago, Milan, and Venice, he is the founder and CEO of spAce, an international architecture and design firm with projects across more than 15 countries.

For over two decades, Baumgartner has challenged conventional ideas of success in architecture, positioning design not as an aesthetic exercise, but as a tool to improve well-being, behavior, and collective experience. His practice integrates neuroscience, data, and post-occupancy research to measure how spaces affect happiness, health, productivity, and social connection.

He is the author of Office as a Tribe, a widely referenced book that rethinks the workplace as a deeply human and social ecosystem. An early contributor to Neuroarchitecture, Baumgartner collaborates with neuroscientists and researchers worldwide, translating scientific insight into built environments.

A frequent TED speaker, he advocates for a future in which architecture is accountable, not only for how it looks, but for how it makes people feel, think, and live.

Elizabeth “Liz” Zabala is a vocalist, conductor, and global mentor reshaping pathways for young artists to thrive in today’s music world. As a musical mentor and woman emerging in the male-dominated field of conducting, she is amplifying a generation of voices who refuse to choose between artistry and identity.

She brings this experience to her international coaching program, working with students from Singapore, Taiwan, Los Angeles, New York, and globally. She prepares them for competitive auditions and guides them in shaping successful music careers. Her mission is to expand access to opportunities and prove that talent is not defined by geography or background.

As former Assistant Conductor of the Boston Festival Orchestra, she made her debut at Jordan Hall conducting the choir in Holst’s “The Planets”. Through founding the Young Professional Musicians Collective, an organization whose mission is to empower musicians through performance experience, Zabala supports young musicians who are driven, confident in themselves, and are the future of the music industry.

Zabala is building a future where music careers are more accessible, global, and authentically human.
