At Vinivia, Creators and Users Connect

With an interactive approach to livestreaming, Vinivia is boosting social media communities.

When sixdegrees.com started letting people make profiles way back in 1997, the goal of social media was to help people connect with one another. And that’s exactly what platforms did for decades. As users continue to search for unique approaches and capabilities within their social media platforms, developers look to the desires of potential users to create new options to fit everyone’s preferences, including creator-first considerations.

Enter Vinivia. This new livestreaming platform is all about connections.

At Vinivia, they see every livestream as a two-way street, where content creators can interact with users and construct interactive communities.

“We did a lot of user research beforehand, and we always listen to our users as well as our creators because we want to solve issues for creators and users,” says Vinivia co-founder Marcello Genovese. “The vision for Vinivia is to be the No. 1 livestreaming app in terms of interactivity, monetization, and technology.”

With this dedication to providing the best possible experience for both users and creators, it looks like Vinivia is on the way to achieving that goal.

Lots for Creators To Love

“With Vinivia, creators have the tools and support they need to thrive and become the next star of tomorrow,” said co-founder Stefan Graf. “We’re incredibly proud of the end result, and we know Vinivia will drive the creator economy forward significantly.”

Added Genovese, “Our app is designed for creators, by creators.”

The company remains committed to updating technology so Vinivia can always provide the most effective, easy-to-use tools for creators.

Genovese is a longtime artist and entertainer himself (in his teens, he was a hugely popular wedding singer) and is well versed in how rapidly shifting digital norms can sometimes be difficult for creatives to keep up with. Making sure creators can monetize their passions is paramount to Genovese and Graf, and has been since they began working on Vinivia back in 2018.

“I love livestreaming,” Genovese says. “It’s a multibillion-dollar market, and we want to do something for the world, for the creators in a different way.”

Vinivia is also revolutionary in the way it allows creators to make money from streaming their content. Vinivia is transparent when it comes to where the money creators earn goes.

Of course, it’s easy to be open and honest when you’re offering creators the best rates in the industry like Vinivia.

“We have a competitive way of monetization,” says Genovese. “We are paying out 80% of the revenues to the content creators. We are really giving our technology for a cheap price to the creators and helping them to make it in a transparent way to make revenue to monetize their content.”

Beyond providing better payouts, Vinivia also allows creators to keep complete control over the content they make by allowing creators to maintain all the rights to their livestreams.

If you want to join the creator economy but don’t already have an existing brand with millions of digital followers, no worries. Vinivia is designed so everyone can become a creator if they have the desire and an internet connection.

“We are enabling users to be creators from day one,” says Genovese. “You don’t need to have 10,000 followers to become a livestreamer or 50,000 followers to monetize your content. You can start today with one follower or even zero followers to monetize your content and to become a livestreamer at Vinivia.”

Vinivia Users Are in for a Tailored Experience

Of course, creators are only half of the equation. If a livestreaming platform doesn’t provide a fun, satisfying, and safe experience for users, it won’t last long. Vinivia provides a cutting-edge platform on this front as well.

At Vinivia, a sophisticated artificial intelligence algorithm helps curate the content that users are most looking for, while maintaining an appropriate digital environment for users.

“We make sure that the safety and enjoyment of our users is taken care of,” says Genovese. “We always want to understand super quickly what’s going on in the content. We are using AI to understand what is visible. Through our technology, we can understand in under one second what’s actually happening in a forward-facing capacity and we can react immediately, as needed.”

He goes on to explain that material is scored by the AI’s ability to understand it. If a stream scores less than 80%, that content is immediately blocked until it’s viewed and reviewed by manual operators. “And we have a 24/7 team moderating the content that is going live on the app,” Genovese adds.

Vinivia’s AI is particularly adept at catching two of the biggest concerns — graphic nude images and illegal activities.

“In under five seconds, we can block content and ban users immediately,” Genovese explains, “That works super well and we are really excited.”

When users find the streaming content they like, they’re able to interact with the community and the creator like never before.

Users can send their favorite creators unique stickers and gifts in real time to show how much they’re enjoying the stream. Interactive features like Q&As, user polls, and discussions help encourage community between creators and fans. And one-click shopping makes it easy and painless to support your favorite creators.

Whether you’re a creator or a user, Vinivia is all about connection — and putting the social back into social media!
